Moe Spanbroek, IA, 2028

I am 20 years old, originally from South Florida, and I now study in Baltimore at MICA.

Project Overview

Experimenting with cellulose and the inclusion of objects, such as dried flowers, shells, and mementos.

Process

Cellulose soaked in glycerol for one day, dried over various objects. Inclusion of the purple flower used as a ‘flag’, plans to incorporate this structure into my mycelium project to make a mock American flag. Hung up using sourced oak twigs and hemp cord.
