Interconnection is a piece exploring the interconnectedness of species, specifically the systems formed between plant roots, mycelium, and fungi. It is rotocasted agar in a jar, with hand drawn lines of CRIPSR E.coli bacteria. I wanted to take a lab strain of bacteria and connect to back to one of the ways it is found in nature, a support of the soil, root systems, and our ecosystem. Beneath the surface, we are all interconnected.
